Event Horizon

Memory Encoded in Fragments
“Event Horizon” explores the intersection of memory, loss, and perception through a process of digital deconstruction and physical reconstruction. By slicing meaningful images into thin strips and reforming them into chaotic strands, the work metaphorically mirrors how personal experiences may vanish, yet leave behind an imprint — a residue of data, emotion, and meaning.
Inspired by black hole theory and the holographic principle, the piece draws a parallel between astrophysics and human consciousness. Just as information is theorized to remain on the surface of a black hole, this work suggests that no experience is ever truly lost. What disappears from sight may still live on — encoded, fragmented, waiting to be reinterpreted.
