The work develops from returning to what is held at a distance. It draws on remembered landscapes that once functioned as a grounding presence and became inaccessible during a difficult period. Rather than representing a specific place, the installation takes shape as a landscape that emerges through inquiry, repetition, and assembly.

Here, thoughts and emotions are not narrated but embodied. Through material accumulation and spatial extension, the work allows what is personal, vast, and difficult to articulate to exist corporeally, without being confined by language or fixed meaning.

The work brings together print-based and sculptural elements. The print component begins with hand-drawn photopolymer prints, which are reprinted through screen printing. The printed sheets are cut into strips and joined into longer lengths. This slow, repetitive action shifts the process away from image-making toward duration and sustained attention, as the prints stop reading as images and begin to function as material, taking on spatial presence.

Plaster elements—made through mould-making and hand-building—sit alongside the prints as displaced forms within the structure, each holding its own significance, while the work remains open and does not insist on a single reading.
